Pelican Kilo instructions
1. Arrival
Welcome to Pelican Self Storage Kilo!
When our customer service is open (weekdays 10-18, Saturdays 10-14) the gate to the yard is open. If you arrive when our customer service is closed, the gate is closed. Get the gate open using Pelican Smart Access-app.
Note! In our store you can buy moving and packing materials such as moving boxes, mattress covers, packing tapes, etc. Welcome to visit us!
2. Loading area/entrance
You can drive your car/trailer directly into the loading area, so you are also protected from the weather.
The loading area can accommodate two cars at the same time. An alternative loading door is located under the canopy immediately to the right of the loading area.
Please note that parking in the loading area is only allowed during loading or unloading.
When you are ready, please kindly move your car to the reserved parking spaces.
3. Opening hours and the Pelican Smart Access app
You have access to your storage space every day of the year from 05.30 to 22.00 from the start date of your contract.
In order to access your storage, you need to activate the Pelican Smart Access app. We have sent you an SMS to activate the app. The message contains a link to the app itself and a code to activate the app. Instructions for using the app can be found here:

If you encounter problems outside opening hours, call the emergency number 020 491 2761.
4. Trolleys in the loading area
In the loading area, you can borrow trolleys for transporting goods. The trolleys are not locked and we ask you to return them to their place after use. Trolleys may not be left in your own storage or borrowed to take with you.
5. How to find your storage space
The lifts are located in the lobby immediately after the doors to the loading area. The first number of your warehouse will tell you which floor the space you are renting is on (e.g. 3123 is on the third floor).
When you reach the right floor, the elevator will have the warehouse numbers in front of it and arrows indicating which direction you need to go to find your warehouse.
6. Use of storage space
Once you have found the space you rented, please check once again that you are using the right space. The storage number is outside the door.
Open the door by pulling the latch open. This unlocks the lock and the door can be opened.
On the floor of the unit there is a safety-approved cylinder lock with keys. Note. Pelican has no spare keys to your lock.
The space is now ready for use.
7. How to open and lock your storage door
Oven sulkeminen:
Työnnä ovi kiinni, ja siirrä metallinen salpa paikoilleen siten että ovi lukittuu. (Nosto-ovissa vedä ovi alas, ja varmista että ovi on täysin alhaalla, jotta saat salvan paikoilleen.)
Varmista, että sylinterilukon kieleke on saman suuntainen lukon kanssa. (Katso kuva 2: Lukossa olevat pilkut vastakkain) Aseta lukko lukkopesään ja käännä avainta vastapäivään. Ota avain pois ja lukon pitäisi pysyä paikallaan. Varmista vielä, että ovi ei aukea.
To open the door:
Turn the key to the right and pull the cylinder lock out of its slot. Slide the metal latch and you can now open the door.
